The Shire ofAshburton intends to renew identified sections of the existing pipe drainage network in Tom Price. Existing corrugated metal pipe culverts will be replaced with reinforced concrete pipes at specific locations. Local contractors J&K Civil Pty Ltd have been contracted to undertake the works.
The works are expected to commence on 13 November 2017 and be completed in March 2018.
The works will require some temporary road and footpath closures, detours and changes to traffic conditions.
The locations affected by the works are as follows:
- Algona Street
- Coolaroo Street
- Yaruga Street
- Caringal Street
- Narrabula Street
- Boolee Street
- Central Road between North Road and Yaruga Street
- Kiah Street
- North Road
- Milpera Street
- Yiluk Street
- Mungarra Street
- Larnook Street
- Kulai Street
- West Road
- Coolibah Street
