Terms and Conditions for Groups or Organisations Submitting Events

If your organisation or group is submitting an event to be promoted by the Shire of Ashburton, the following conditions apply:

• Accuracy and Approvals: You are responsible for providing accurate, approved event information including dates, times, and contact details. The Shire reserves the right to edit content for clarity or formatting.

• Compliance: All submitted events must comply with local laws, Shire policies, and community standards. The Shire reserves the right to decline or remove event listings that are misleading, inappropriate, or not aligned with Council objectives.

• Promotion Disclaimer: Submission of an event does not guarantee promotion. Final decisions on publishing and promotion are at the discretion of the Shire’s Communications team.
