Small Business Grant Program 2026/2027

     

The Shire is committed to fostering a welcoming, sustainable and socially active district that offers a diverse range of opportunities for the community.

To support this vision, the Small Business Grant initiative aims to encourage vibrant, sustainable and liveable towns by providing annual grants that aims to strengthen small business sustainability, growth, capability and to promote new infrastructure, services, commercial opportunities, investment, and diversification.

On June 2026, Council adopted the Small Business Grant Policy to support the delivery of the Shire of Ashburton 2026/2027 Small Business Grants program with a budget allocation of $80,000 (excluding GST) with Small Businesses to apply for funding of up to $5,000.

This initiative is conducted with the collaboration of the Onslow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Pilbara Inland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PICCI).

2026/2027 Small Business Grant Round Opening

Small Business Grant submissions will open in August and close at the end of September.
