Waste Collection Schedule
Below is the Shire of Ashburton’s domestic waste collection schedule based on your town. If you have any enquiries, please contact our Waste team on (08) 9188 5505.
To ensure your bins are collected and dispensed safely, please keep in mind the following information:
- Bins must be placed 1 metre from the kerb and with a minimum of 0.5–1 metre clear space on either side (away from letterboxes, posts, vehicles and branches).
- Bins must be placed according to the above guidelines before 6:00am on your collection day.
- Only Council-approved bins will be collected.
- Bin wheels should be facing your property.
- Contents must weigh less than 70kg.
- Overfilling or compacting your bin with cardboard or lawn clippings that are not bagged will prevent waste from being emptied.
