Community members are advised that the Shire of Ashburton is currently proceeding with widening and resurface roadworks on Mine Road, Tom Price.
Additional safety features such as new guard rails, guideposts and tactile edge linemarking will also be installed over coming weeks as the project nears completion.
We are continuing to work closely with contractors to address road widening and surface conditions on some areas of the road and we anticipate some short periods of traffic management to be in place in order to provide safe traffic flow.
These works will continue in some capacity over the next few weeks and we appreciate your patience throughout this time.
We appreciate your patience and request that all drivers obey traffic signs and traffic management at all times to keep all workers and road users safe throughout this period.
