Women's Health Sessions Wind Down With Luxurious Pamper Night

The Shire of Ashburton's Women’s Health and Wellbeing sessions wrapped up in Tom Price on Wednesday with a luxurious ‘pamper night’.

Lucky participants enjoyed a facial, foot massage, aromatherapy, manicure and spa – plus some delicious healthy food.

The series of sessions, which began at the end of 2010 and included yoga, massage, reflexology and relaxation techniques, were met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the community.

Shire of Ashburton Community Services Co-ordinator Heather Patmore said the purpose of the series was to provide local women with a taste of what was on offer in Paraburdoo and Tom Price.

“We have all these fantastic professionals living in our community who are able to teach women valuable techniques to create health and wellbeing,” Mrs Patmore said.

“Hopefully the women who enjoyed our sessions will continue to make use of these techniques –and support our wonderful local practitioners.”

A ‘pamper night’ for Paraburdoo will be organised in the next fortnight.
