Constructing in the vicinity of a water main or sewer requires Water Corporation approval.
For any building permit applications in Onslow, the Shire of Ashburton requires the applicant to give to the Water Corporation notification and submit a plan of the proposed construction or alteration.
Before accepting a building permit application for Onslow, whether for either Certified or Uncertified applications, the applicant must obtain and attach a copy of the Water Corporation approval to the application for a building permit.
