The Shire of Ashburton will be joining the 2021 Australian 4WD & Adventure Show as a tourism exhibitor during the Perth leg of their national tour.

As a tourism exhibitor, the Shire will be showcasing our reef to range experience including our towns of Onslow, Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Pannawonica and the surrounding attractions of Karijini and Millstream Chichester National Parks and the Mackerel and Montebello Islands ahead of the 2022 tourist season.

Shire of Ashburton President Kerry White recognised the importance of tourism in the region and engaging with potential tourists through events such as the Australian 4WD & Adventure Show.

“Since the beginning of COVID-19, the Shire has experienced an influx of tourists across the Shire.

“Continual exploration and discovery by tourists of our region, positions the Shire for further potential cultural, historical and tourism opportunities,” she said.

“Attending the Australian 4WD & Adventure Show is a great way to reach enthusiastic tourists ahead of the 2022 tourist season and ensure our beautiful Ashburton is on their must-visit list.”

As Australia’s biggest 4WD and Adventure Show, the event has the latest gear for four-wheel drive and camping enthusiasts, plus family entertainment and attractions including the Engel Bush Camp, fishing stage, Fourby Forum info stage, special guests, 4WD Test Track, recovery demos, and an adventure motorbike demonstration area.

The Australian 4WD & Adventure Show will be on at McCallum Park in Victoria Park from November 5-7, 2021.
