The Shire of Ashburton has recently completed an upgrade of key road signage in Tom Price as part of the Local Projects Local Jobs program funded through the Pilbara Development Commission.

As a result of the project, new signage has now been installed at a number of popular destinations which provide improved directional and awareness outcomes for locals, new residents and the high volume of tourists who travel through the region each year.   These include the well used Mt Nameless (Jarndunmunha) Walk Trail and the beautiful Hamersley Gorge.

An upgrade of aging signs along the well trafficked Tom Price – Karratha Rail Access Route has improved the clarity of directions for travellers, particularly tourists.
