UPDATED: Bush Fire Advice for Shire of Ashburton

Tom Price Fire & Rescue Service & Tom Price Bush Fire Brigade have advised the following:

"There are currently 17 bush fires burning out of control in the Shire of Ashburton. FRS and BFB are working with Department of Parks and Wildlife, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Rio Tinto and Ashburton Shire. Currently Rio Tinto have deployed ERT and Emergency Management to 2 fires. TPFRS and TPBFB are on standby to respond to where resources are most needed."

Please be aware that there are currently 3 Bush Fire Advices for Great Northern Highway between Auski Roadhouse and Port Hedland, Karijini National Park (road closures) and the Hamersley Ranges (no road closures).  More information can be found at the Department of Fire & Emergency Services website:  (this link provides the most up to date information)
