Twitchin Road and Old Onslow Road Closed
Please be advised that Twitchin Road and Old Onslow Road is currently closed due to wet and slippery conditions, with pooling water in some sections creating a risk of bogging.
Road closure signage has been installed at both Twitchin Road and Old Onslow Road, please obey accordingly.
If you are currently camped by the Ashburton River, please refrain from driving on the closed roads for your own safety and for the safety of others. If you must leave the area, you will not be able to return until the road reopens.
If you were planning to camp at the Ashburton River, please use the overflow camping at Thalanyji Oval, following the guidelines.
If there is no further rainfall, the road is expected to be safe for travel in approximately 2 to 3 days.
