The next phase of the stage one upgrade to Tom Price Skate Park will get underway next week with the installation of the supporting column for shade sails.
The skate park will remain open however there may be some interruptions to availability from Tuesday 15 June until Friday 18 June.
Please adhere to safety signage and stay clear of works areas while the columns are being installed.
Soft-fall installation will take place week beginning Monday 21 June. The park will be closed to facilitate this and we will confirm dates closer to the time.

We anticipate this staged project will be completed mid-July.
The Shire of Ashburton have committed $250,000 to the project, with Rio Tinto also committing $400,000 to the upgrade and additional funding is currently being sought through Building Better Regions Funding.
