Tom Price is one of only 34 towns to feature in a new exhibition at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.
‘Landmarks: People and Places Across Australia’, displays equipment from the Tom Price mine during the early mining boom - including the late Lang Hancock’s prospecting jacket and a 15.2 tonne excavator bucket used in the mine.
To learn more about the exhibition visit the museum’s Landmarks page at http://www.nma.gov.au/exhibitions/landmarks/about_landmarks/ .
