Residents are advised that works at the Dog Park are scheduled to be competed on 22 July, with public use available from 30 July.

Tom Price Dog Park has been unavailable to the community since the flood event in February this year.

Community members and users of the facility are reminded to follow the below rules:

  • Dog waste must be cleaned up immediately
  • Dogs must wear a collar
  • Arrive and leave on-leash
  • Be up to date on registration, vaccinations, and parasite control
  • Keep your eyes on your pet
  • Do not bring a dog with behavioural/social/aggression issues, or who is unwell into the park
  • No food inside the dog park
  • Use and enjoy the park at your own risk

Bike Park construction continues, with the amenity to include a new pump track plus a learn to ride track for younger and inexperienced riders.

It will also integrate with the existing playground at Lions Park creating a communal space for all ages and abilities to enjoy whilst improving overall health and wellbeing.

The $1.6 million project is expected to be completed by the start of October.
