Tom Price Community Consultation

With planning to revitilise the town centre of Tom Price now in its final stages, community will have the opportunity to provide feedback when the Shire of Ashburton holds an open day at the Tom Price Shopping Centre this Wednesday April 14.

From 9.30am to 2pm Shire representatives and consultants will be present to explain project plans and visions. Handouts with the draft concept plan for the town will be available on the day as well as additional information including a link to a survey on the Shire of Ashburton website which will allow community members to comment on the new design.

The Tom Price Town Centre Revitalisation Project hopes to address some of the issues which have been plaguing the town for over 40 years. Some of these include refurbishing the current shopping mall, improving the quality and variety of retail shops and eateries, providing facilities for youth and children and improving sports, recreation and entertainment facilities.
