The Shire of Ashburton is currently renewing the existing pipe drainage network in Tom Price and as part of this project, existing corrugated metal pipe culverts are replaced with reinforced concrete pipes at specific locations. Local contractors J & K Civil Pty Ltd have been contracted to undertake the works.
In order to expedite the works and minimise inconvenience to residents, a partial closure of Central Road between North Road and Yaruga Street Tom Price will be required. The road is expected to be closed at 7am on Thursday 5 April 2018 and re-opened at 5pm on Monday 16 April 2018.
Traffic management arrangements including detours will be in place for the duration of the closure. The following streets will be required to be accessed via detour:
- Warara Street
- Kulai Street
- Larnook Street
- Mungarra Street
- Yiluk Street
- Milpera Street
