The Shire of Ashburton is excited to announce that iconic Australian rock band Hoodoo Gurus will headline not one, but two exciting festivals taking place in the Shire this August.
In what promises to be a packed month of entertainment, community connection and celebration, the Inspire Festival will take place in Tom Price on Saturday, 9 August, and the Passion of the Pilbara (POP), in Onslow on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 August. Both events will feature the legendary Hoodoo Gurus as their headline act.
Shire President Audra Smith said the festivals reflect the Shire’s commitment to bringing high-quality entertainment and vibrancy to the community and the Pilbara region.
“To have a band as renowned as the Hoodoo Gurus perform at both Inspire and Passion of the Pilbara is incredibly exciting for our region.
“These festivals are more than just music – they are a celebration of our local culture, families and regional pride. We look forward to welcoming visitors and locals alike to enjoy everything, from rides and market stalls to food trucks, local performers and entertainment for all ages,” stated President Smith.
The two festivals will be jam-packed full of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, market stalls, fair rides and more.
Both festivals are free to attend, with full programs and event details to be released in the coming weeks.
