The Shire of Ashburton was announced as a finalist for the prestigious 2022 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.
On Wednesday, the Shire of Ashburton was announced as a finalist for the 2022 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.
The awards, which were held in Perth announced the Shire as a finalist in the category ‘Excellence in Local Government Award for Tourism.’
The announcement recognises the Shire’s efforts and contributions to tourism initiatives in the area, and the harnessing of the visitor economy under the Visit Ashburton branding.
Congratulations to the City of Fremantle, City of Mandurah, and City of Rockingham who were also announced as finalists in the category.
The winners of the 2022 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards will be announced on November 5.
