As the excitement of the 2015 Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival approaches we remind residents that a number of carparks and roads will be closed to allow for event set up and pack down. Please take note of these closures and avoid the areas where possible.
Carpark and road closures
As of Wednesday 5 August the following roads and car parks will be closed;
- Stadium Road (from Red Breeze) to Willow Road intersection
- Muzzy’s carpark (closed as of Wednesday evening)
- Swimming pool carpark
- Moon Palace carpark (only open to Lestok Bus Service and associated business access)
- Blockbuster carpark (closed Thursday morning, reopen Sunday morning)
Street Parade
The street parade will be held on Saturday 8 August starting at 9.00am. The parade will leave from the Catholic Church travelling along Mine Rd, Central Rd and continuing onto Stadium Road to the village green where the parade finishes. All of these roads will be closed from 8.30 to 10.00am.
