Regular ranger services in Pannawonica

Published on Tuesday, 21 April 2020 at 12:00:00 AM

Pannawonica community members are advised that our Onslow-based ranger services team regularly visit the area to ensure we continue to make our community a safe place to live and work.

This includes prevention of vandalism, littering and dumping of rubbish, reporting and removing abandoned vehicles and working with Police and other agencies to report antisocial or behaviour.

Our rangers are also available for any issues arising from dogs and cats and can be contacted on 0417 949 661 during office hours and after hours and/or weekends on 08 9188 4444.

If you come across a missing dog or cat or domestic pet, please take a photo if possible and remember the location of the animal to pass onto our rangers via phone or email [email protected].

Pet owners are also asked to be aware of their specific and legal responsibilities, which are intended for the convenience of all the community, as well as the health and well-being of your animals. This includes mandatory dog registration with the Shire and micro-chipping. We encourage all pet owners to sterilise their pets to prevent them contributing to the increasing population of unwanted animals.

Domestic animals should not be allowed to roam freely and should be kept on a leash at all times with the exception of designated exercise areas. Consideration needs to be given to ensure your dog is kept under your control during these times.

Our ranger will be visiting Pannawonica on Friday this week, with regular and routine visits continuing.
