Women in Mining WA (WIMWA) started in 2003 with the idea of being proactive about supporting people to keeping people in the mining and resources sector. WIMWA has had great success, with up to 200 attendees at bimonthly networking functions, and a variety of high profile and inspiring speakers.
Keynote speakers include:Sinead Kaufman, General Manager of Operations at Rio Tinto’s Paraburdoo
mine, Sabina Shugg, who received the inaugural CMEWA Women in Resources Champion Award as well as many others.
The event will be held in Paraburdoo at the Greater Paraburdoo Site. Those interested must register prior to the event.
