Phase 3 easing of restrictions from Saturday 6 June 2020

Community members are reminded that we are still in Phase 2 of WA's roadmap of easing restrictions.

Our parks, playgrounds, skateparks and dog exercise areas still remain closed but we will be working to reopen these popular community amenities from Saturday 6 June when Phase 3 easing of restrictions comes into effect.

This means this long weekend you can enjoy:

  • Social indoor and outdoor gatherings of 20 people. This also applies to weddings and funerals (30 for outdoors).
  • Hospitality industry open for service - seated meals in cafés and restaurants permitted (including within pubs, bars, clubs, hotels and casino), limited to 20 patrons and the 4 square metre rule applied.An increase in community recreation permitted – community sports, indoor or outdoor fitness classes, and public pools can
  • Resume all limited to 20 people (no contact or shared equipment). This extends to places of worship, community facilities and libraries.
  • And as of today - Friday, 29 May 2020 travel around WA will be permitted everywhere, except the areas bound by the Commonwealth's biosecurity zones in the Kimberely region, parts of the East Pilbara, the Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku and the 274 remote Aboriginal Communities.
