The Shire of Ashburton have contracted Ertech to undertake the reshaping of stormwater basins in Onslow.
These works will commence on Monday, 28 March and allow the basins to drain correctly.
Areas impacted:
- Stormwater basin 1 - corner of McGrath Avenue and Third Avenue
- Stormwater basin 2 - corner of McGrath Avenue and Second Avenue
Works will include:
- Cut and fill of materials;
- Ground cover vegetation removal in basin 1;
- Installation of concrete drain in stormwater basin 2; and
- Vegetation removal along the channel entering basin 2.
Please use caution when in the area.
The project is expected to be completed over a four week period, weather permitting.
