Onslow community members are invited to attend an information night in the lead up to the 2023 Solar Eclipse.
Community members are encouraged to attend the session on Monday, 13 March 2023 that will provide an overview of events and activities around the town, during and in the lead up to the Solar Eclipse Festival.
The Total Solar Eclipse occurs on Thursday 20 April with Onslow experiencing over 99% of totality.
We will also have representatives from Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) who will provide information on the Dark Sky Festival that is taking place across the region.
There will be the opportunity for attendees to ask any questions they may have.
We also invite residents to complete a short 2-minute survey online here in the lead up to or on the night to help the Shire’s preparations for the festival.
The information session will take place at RM Forrest Hall on Second Avenue from 6pm to 7pm.
Light refreshments will be served.
