If you want to make a difference to the community in which you live, and help make local decisions, nominate for election in the Shire of Ashburton 2016 Local Government Extraordinary Election, which will take place on Thursday, 20 October 2016.
If you are considering serving your community as a Councillor, come along to an information evening to find out more. The evening will focus on:
- An overview of the Shire of Ashburton
- Roles and responsibilities of Elected Members.
- The Local Government election process.
- Requirements for nomination.

WHERE: Clem Thompson Sports Pavilion, Stadium Rd, Tom Price
The Shire’s CEO, Neil Hartley will be in attendance to answer your questions.
