The Shire is aware of the recent discussion about the number of competing businesses in any given town, and while we are governed by law to adhere to the National Competition Policy and therefore have no legal authority to restrict business types, we do have a vested interest in the growth and sustainability of our local economies. Hence, as business owners your feedback is important to us and helps guide how we can best support you.
Representatives from the Shire will be attending the next PICCI meeting on Thursday 7 November and we welcome the chance to talk to local business owners and answer any questions you may have.
