Limited access to Peter Sutherland and Judy Woodvine Oval

Paraburdoo community members are advised that a number of work stages are about to commence as part of the construction of the new softball facilities in Paraburdoo.

Commencing Friday 21 February, stage one of works commence, meaning Fortescue Road will be closed so there will be no public access. The carpark of the school will be closed from 5pm until 6pm on Saturday 22 February and Sunday 23 February to allow for ground preparation works during the weekend.

There will be limited access to the rear entrance of Peter Sutherland and Judy Woodvine Oval including the car park near the rear of the primary school from Monday 24 February until Friday 28 February 2020. This is to allow for the installation of new fencing and bollards along the oval boundary.

During this time a portion of the Judy Woodvine Oval will remain open to the public as a temporary dog exercise park.

Once stage one is completed, fencing will be removed and installed on Judy Woodvine Oval with the remainder of the oval will be open for people with their dogs.

We will continue to update on our website and Facebook page as the project continues.
