June 50 Year Celebrations announced for Onslow and Tom Price

On June 11, celebrations will commence on the Mountain View Sporting Club from 4pm with live music from locals Coolibah Collective, Black Sorrows Trio, Ian Moss and Nameless Festival Favourites Tre Amici.

The event will encourage residents to set up a picnic and enjoy a night of music plus food vans and carnival rides from West Coast Carnivals including Dodgem Track, Graviton, Tea cups, Bungee Trampolines and more.

On the June 18 weekend Onslow residents will be able to commemorate 50 years with a Family Fun Day featuring an Ice Skating Rink, Mini Golf, Pump Track, Archery, Rock Climbing and more.

A free concert will also be held on Thalanyji Oval headlined by Australian rock band The Choirboys with food vans and a pop up bar courtesy of Froth Brewery.

Residents are advised to stay up to date with Shire Facebook and Instagram channels (@ShireofAshburton ) as more information is revealed in the coming weeks.

Further celebratory events will also take place in both Paraburdoo and Pannawonica across the year, with announcements scheduled for the coming months.
