Nintirri Neighbourhood Centre is delighted to establish an important service to our local towns: Women's Health Promotion. Registered Nurse Stacey Robinson has recently joined the team and can offer a range of women's health services to Tom Price and surrounding communities.

Stacey is experienced in women’s health issues and sexual health counseling. This includes contraception, pap smears, screening of sexually transmissible infections (STIs), pregnancy information (planned and unplanned), sexual difficulties, period problems, menopause and fertility issues.

“Empowering healthy lifestyle choices for women is my passion and I am privileged to be able to offer these important services to the community,” said Stacey.

“I’m also very committed to the youth of our community and am looking forward to working with the TPYC by raising awareness and providing information about Sexual Health and Protective Behaviour.”

The Protective Behaviours program is a preventative, life skills program which empowers people of all ages and cultures to develop skills in with dealing with difficult situations.

Another exciting development is that Stacey will feature on Gumala Radio starting in August with monthly health updates and a live question and answer session – so the community will have the opportunity to phone in and ask any questions on live radio, so listen out!
