The Shire of Ashburton intends to carry out civil works on Stadium Road, Tom Price. The proposed works consist of installation of new stormwater drainage culverts, pits and kerb and channel, improvements to the geometric Iayout of intersections and parking functionality, footpaths, surface works and street Iighting for the full Iength of Stadium Road. Formstruct has been contracted to carry out the work.
The works are expected to take 10 weeks to complete.
The project is scheduled to commence on the 22/05/2017 with the contractor establishing traffic management, utility Iocations, survey and project signage. Access to certain properties may be restricted for brief periods during working hours. Arrangements will be made with affected business/property owners prior to any such restrictions being implemented.
Traffic control personnel will be present during working hours. Some road closures may be necessary during the project to complete work on underground utility services.
The expected completion date for the project is the 14/07/2017.
