The Shire of Ashburton will be commencing works at both Minna Oval and Tom Price Softball Oval to install overhead lighting.
As part of the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan, we are committed to delivering accessible and quality infrastructure and providing sustainable clubs and facilities to ensure a vibrant and active community.
As part of our 2020/21 budget, this $700,000 lighting project will improve the usability and later access to both popular community facilities.
Works will commence at Minna Oval on Monday 28 June run for approximately two weeks.
The upgrade to the lighting at Tom Price Softball Diamond Oval will commence once Minna Oval is completed and will take approximately one week.
Both ovals will still be available for all existing club bookings only and users are asked to stay clear of exclusion zones during the works.
