Free Green Waste collection for Paraburdoo, Onslow and Tom Price residents

The Shire of Ashburton is providing a green waste collection for Shire of Ashburton residents in Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Onslow free of charge throughout November. 

Residents are advised to take time to look around their property for broken branches, fallen trees, shrubs, and tree prunings to discard in preparation for the upcoming cyclone season.

Collection will commence on 14 November.

Please ensure items are out by 11 November as any items placed out after this date, or items not complying with the following conditions will not be collected. 

Residents are asked to please stack items in a location that is easily accessible for hand collection. 

  • Do not place items on top of water meters, footpaths, taps, Telstra pits or within 2 metres of green mini pillars (green domes).
  • If possible, tree pruning waste must be in bundles no more than 1 metre long and no more than 10kg each.
  • Bags / bins / piles of loose leaves shall not be collected
  • Items stacked inside property boundaries shall not be collected
  • Waste from commercial operators shall not be collected
