Fortescue Metals Group Ltd, together with the Shire of Ashburton, is hosting an information day at Tom Price on Tuesday 7 December 2010 to update contractors and suppliers on emerging opportunities with Fortescue’s planned Solomon Hub iron ore development. This is a valuable opportunity for businesses which have, or which are intending to establish, a permanent presence in Tom Price.
The information day will include an overview of Fortescue’s plans for the Solomon Hub, approximately 80km north of Tom Price, an overview of land availability and housing from the Shire of Ashburton together with a tour of Tom Price facilities and amenities.
Lunch will be provided and, if required, Fortescue will meet the cost of same day return travel to Tom Price from Perth for contractors and suppliers not locally based.
