As from 1 July 2015 fees and charges have been introduced for the disposal of some domestic waste items. Due to the delay in new signage and payment facilities (EFTPOS for domestic fees payments only) being installed these fees have not been imposed.
As from Monday 31 August the new fees will now be charged at all of the Shire’s waste disposal sites (see charges below).
The charges on these items reflect the additional cost to the Shire in handling, processing and/or removing the products from site in an approved manner.
Please note: the gatekeeping staff must collect the fees at each site prior to disposal of these wastes and are unable to waive the fees at the time of entry.
