The Shire of Ashburton apologies for any offence that may have been caused following the incorrect publishing of an Aboriginal corporation's name in the moringa crop article published in the October Inside Ashburton newsletter.
The Shire of Ashburton assisted the Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation to source funding for the project and is working with the Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation to establish a sustainable business for local Indigenous people. It is not Gumala Aboriginal Corporation as stated in the article.
