Funding under the Community Chest is available to assist with community infrastructure projects, service programs and events. Funding is intended to support the development of resilient communities and contribute to regional areas being vibrant and interesting places in which to live.
The Community Chest is targeted at providing financial assistance to regionally based organisations. Eligible applicants may include local governments, voluntary organisations, business groups, educational institutions, philanthropic foundations and community organisations.
Applications up to $20,000 will be accepted under the Community Chest with funding available at any time up until March 2015 or until funds are allocated.
