Bush Fire Season - Restricted Burning

With Bush Fire Season upon us, residents and visitors to the Shire of Ashburton are reminded that the following conditions apply

RESTRICTED BURNING ALL YEAR

FIRES ARE PROHIBITED ALL YEAR WITH OUT A PERMIT OTHER THAN FOR THE PURPOSE OF CAMPING AND COOKING.

ON DAYS OF VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER OR ABOVE FIRE DANGER ALL FIRES ARE PROHIBITED

The Shire of Ashburton hereby revokes all previous FCO appointments and appoints the following as Fire Control Officers for the Shire of Ashburton:

  • Morgwn Jones as CBFCO
  • Ashley Robbins as DCBFCO
  • Chris O’Connell as DCBFCO
  • David Darling as FCO
  • Glyn Potter as FCO
  • Darryl Hannah as FCO
  • Paul Madden as FCO
  • Glen Smith as FCO

For the whole of the Shire of Ashburton.

  • Ivan Diaz as FCO
  • Robert Morgan as FCO

For the Paraburdoo area only

  • Matt Campbell

For the Western Parts of the Shire of Ashburton (Pannawonica)

  • Michael Booth (CBFCO Shire of Roebourne) as FCO
  • Andrew Norris (CBFCO Shire of East Pilbara) as FCO
  • Peter Wilden (CBFCO Town of Port Headland) as FCO
  • David George (CBFCO Shire of Exmouth) as FCO

For areas where the Shires of Roebourne, East Pilbara, Port Headland and Exmouth share a boundary with the Shire of Ashburton
