The Western Australian Planning Commission has publicly released the amended R-Codes (2013) and accompanying documents.
The amendment to the R-Codes (2013) aims to address emerging design trends, promote sustainability, improve clarity and highlight assessment pathways to facilitate better residential design outcomes.
The R-Codes (2013) will take effect upon publication in a special edition of the Government Gazette on Friday 2 August 2013.
All documents can be accessed via the R-Codes webpage (http://www.planning.wa.gov.au/637.asp).
All applications after this date will be required to conform with the requirements of the amended Codes.
