Sports clubs and associations play an immensely important role in Tom Price and Paraburdoo. The Active Ashburton Sports Star Awards aim to recognise and reward the outstanding achievements and contributions that individuals have made to sport in the Shire of Ashburton.
Nominations are encouraged from all members of the community. If you have a teammate, player, coach or umpire that you would like to recognise for their efforts and achievements in sport they can be nominated in one of five categories:
- Sportsman of the Year
- Sportswoman of the Year
- Junior Sports Star of the Year (11 and under)
- Youth Sports Star of the Year (12 - 17)
- Coach/Umpire of the Year
