8 November 2013 - Bush Fire Advice

Published on Friday, 8 November 2013 at 12:00:00 AM

Tom Price Fire & Rescue Service & Tom Price Bush Fire Brigade have advised the following via their facebook page:

"Today's Fire Danger Rating for Ashburton Inland is VERY HIGH... We still have 17 fires out of control in the shire. DPAW have moved back to the visitors centre as the Dales Gorge fire has gotten larger and worse. Check with visitors centre but we believe most of the park is closed. B4 fire looks to be nearly contained thanks to the great work of the Emergency Management team and the TPBFB. Great northern hwy is still a concern, check main roads website for warnings. Koodaidri camp is deemed safe. The chief is out on the great Nthn now doing a recce."
