2021 Local Election Information for Paraburdoo and Tom Price Residents

The Shire of Ashburton local government postal elections are now underway, with the final count taking place on Saturday, October 16.

Shire of Ashburton residents in Paraburdoo and Tom Price are advised of the following to ensure all eligible and participatory voters can have their voice heard:

  • There is currently a ballot box at Paraburdoo Library where residents can place their completed vote. This ballot box will be at the library until 12pm on Friday, October 15 After which, Paraburdoo residents who still wish to cast a vote will need to place it in the ballot box in Tom Price.
  • There is also a ballot box at the Tom Price Administration Office for residents to place their completed votes. The Tom Price ballot box will close at 4:30pm on Friday, October 15.

The Tom Price Community Hall will be open from 8am to 6pm on Saturday, October 16 for both Paraburdoo and Tom Price residents to deposit their vote.

Voting will close at 6pm, with the official count beginning right after. Residents are invited to spectate as the official count takes place.
