11 November - Bush Fire Advice

Department of Fire & Emergency Services advice:

Please be aware that there are currently 4 Bush Fire Advices for:

  1. Hamersley Ranges No roads are closed. Motorists should avoid the area and be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site.
  2. Gregory's Gorge and Millstream Chichester National Park.  Road Closures - The following roads have been closed:

• access tracks into Gregory's Gorge and surrounding areas
• the southern section of the Watercorp pipeline track

Other roads in the area and Millstream Chichester National Park may also be closed. 

For further details contact Shire of Ashburton and the Department of Parks and Wildlife.

Motorists should avoid the area and be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site. 

  1. Karijini National Park - THE PARK IS CLOSED - Road closures:

• All of Karijini Drive has been closed from Great Northern Highway to the Marandoo access road, including the Hamersley-Mt Bruce Road.

  1. Great Northern Highway and Marble Bar Road, 40 kilometres eat of Port Hedland, in the Town of Port Hedland.
