The Shire of Ashburton will be welcoming Carol Redford from Astrotourism WA and Dr Kate Russo from ‘being in the shadow’ as the countdown to the 2023 Solar Eclipse begins.
Bring a picnic and your friends and family to enjoy a delightful moonrise from Onslow’s stunning Anzac Memorial Park.
Gaze through a telescope, be amazed by a green laser pointer tour of the night sky constellations and ask all the eclipse questions you can.
This lovely relaxed evening will introduce you to all things astronomical and you’ll find out why the Moon is the reason that the date for Easter changes every year!
