Proposed Local Planning Policy for Public Comment

In accordance with the provisions of Schedule 2, clause 4 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, Council resolves to advertise the draft Local Planning Policies for public comment, for a period of not less than twenty-one (21) days.

Policies

• Local Planning Policy 2.1 – General Industry Zone
• Local Planning Policy 2.2 – Service Commercial Zone
• Local Planning Policy 2.3 – Tourism Zone
• Local Planning Policy 2.4 – Centre Zone

The draft Local Planning Policies are intended to provide clear guidance on criteria for the use and development of land within the respective zones of General Industry, Service Commercial, Tourism and Centre under proposed Local Planning Scheme 8. 

If you would like to make a submission, please send an email to [email protected] or post to the Tom Price Office at PO BOX 567, Tom Price WA 6751 and include in the title block reference to Local Planning Policy. Please submit before the close of business Thursday, 9 July 2026.
