Proposed Local Planning Policies for Comment – July 2026

In accordance with the provisions of Schedule 2, Clause 4 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, Council resolves to advertise the following draft Policies for public comment, for a period of time no less than twenty-one (21) days.

Policies

• Draft LPP 9.2 – Signage and Advertising
• Draft LPP 9.3 – Caretakers and Ancillary Dwellings
• Draft LPP 9.4 – Exemptions for Minor Development

The draft Local Planning Policies are intended to provide clear guidance on criteria for caretakers and ancillary dwellings, signage and advertising and when a development approval is not required for minor development works.

If you would like to make a submission, please send an email to [email protected] or post to the Tom Price Administration Office at PO Box 567, Tom Price WA 6751 and include in the title block reference to the policy/policies you wish to comment on. Please submit before close of business Friday, 14 August 2026.
