Proposed Disposition of Property

The Shire of Ashburton proposes to dispose of property by way of licence, described as follows:

Property:  Portions of Lot 201 on Deposited Plan 422498, Onslow Airport (McAullay Road, Onslow)

Licensee: MinRes Air Facilities Pty Ltd

Disposition: Licence for an initial term of 2 years, with two further 2-year option terms, to support IT and communication services infrastructure installation and air travel and transportation operations at the Onslow Airport.

The licence will provide shared use of designated terminal areas including check-in counters, boarding gate facilities, dispatch office space, and communications room space.

Consideration: Commencing at $35,200.00 per annum (plus GST) for the initial term (paid monthly in advance in equal instalments), plus CPI review at the commencement of each of the further option terms available, if enacted.

Market Value: A valuation by a licenced valuer dated 9 July 2025 determined the indicative market rental value of the subject portions of the property proposed to be licenced, exclusive GST and outgoings.
