Proposed Disposition of Property Portion of Lot 201 on Deposited Plan 422498, Onslow Airport (McAullay Road, Onslow)

Notice - Section 3.58(3) – Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Ashburton proposes to dispose of property by way of licence, described as follows:

Property: Portion of Lot 201 on Deposited Plan 422498, Onslow Airport (McAullay Road, Onslow)

Licensee: Network Aviation (Qantas Airways Ltd.)

Disposition: Licence for an initial term of 2 years, with one further 2-year option term, to support the management of regular air services that facilitate resource industry operations and regional connectivity through Onslow Airport.

Consideration: Commencing at $44,600 per annum (plus GST) for the initial term (paid monthly in advance in equal instalments), with a fixed annual licence fee review of 3%.

Market Value: A valuation by a licenced valuer dated 9 July 2025 determined the indicative market rental value of the subject portions of the property proposed to be licenced, exclusive of GST and outgoings.
