Notice of proposed temporary road closures at Barrarda Estate, Onslow

The Shire has received a request from Chevron Australia Pty Ltd to temporarily close a number of roads within the Barrarda Estate, Onslow. The road closures are necessary to allow the efficient construction of 50 homes and ancillary landscaping.

The road closures will be in effect from 7:00am, Monday 16 May 2016 until 7:00am 31 December 2016. Roads will be reopened as works are completed in each area.

The following roads will be affected:

  • 8110526 - Scully Road
  • 8110523 - Yardi Street
  • 8110522 - Wirlu Street
  • 8110518 - Mirri Lane
  • 8110514 - Carlyon Road
  • 8110513 - Ahmat Way
  • 8110515 - Garla Road
  • 8110521 - Wimbil Street
  • 8110516 - Juru Road
  • 8110519 - Tink Street
  • 8110517 - Marna Road
  • 8110511 - Kempton Avenue

Roads will be blocked to traffic in all directions and no pedestrian access will be provided.

A plan showing the location of all road closures can be downloaded below. Traffic management will be in place for the duration of these works and residents are requested to avoid the work zone if possible.
