Extractive Industries Repeal Local Law 2023

Notice is hereby given pursuant to s.3.12(6) of the Local Government Act 1995 (Act) that Council resolved at its Ordinary Meeting on 9 May 2023 to adopt the abovementioned local law in accordance with the requirements of the Act.

The purpose of this local law is to repeal the Shire of Ashburton Extractive Industries Local Law 2013, and the effect of the local law will be that the Shire of Ashburton Extractive Industries Local Law 2013 will no longer be in effect.

This local law commences operation on 31 May 2023.  

The local law may be viewed on the Shire’s website at www.ashburton.wa.gov.au A copy may be inspected or obtained from the Shire’s Administration Offices.
