The Shire of Ashburton is aware of wild cattle currently roaming around the Tom Price townsite.
These animals are not domesticated and may behave unpredictably, including becoming aggressive if they feel threatened. Your safety is our priority, so please:
Do not approach, touch, or feed the cattle
Keep children and pets at a safe distance
Take extra care when driving, especially at night when visibility is low
Avoid actions that may startle or provoke the animals
It is important to treat all wild animals with caution and respect. Interfering with them can put you, your family and the animals at risk.
If you see cattle creating a safety concern or requiring attention, please lodge a Customer Action Request (CAR) here.
Thank you for helping keep our community safe.
